So Long is out of the  Thoroughbred mare Lana.  She was bred to be a hunter and her breeder is very pleased with her personality and development.

So Longs'  first filly by Linaro  makes Cotopaxi a grandsire in 2006 then with just a few months under saddle in 2007 she was winning the 2'9" jumpers at her first show, the Monroe Spring National.

"Lana is doing great, I really enjoy her, not only is she fun to jump but she is a great riding horse in general.  She is always the leader.  I am taking her to a John Turner clinic in November and look forward to showing her next year.  She has yet to ever stop with me, and I have jumper her over just about everything, she seems to be a lot like her father, with the presence to get things done!"

Description by owner: Coda is a 2004 dark bay gelding by the Holsteiner stallion Cotopaxi (Carbano/Lenz) http://www.synergysporthorses.net/ out of the Thoroughbred mare Sassy Alliance (Native Alliance/Struck Out). He is bred to jump but he is also quite a nice mover, should suit any discipline! He is very well put together and should mature to at least 16'2. He has a very inquisitive and confident nature, bold & not at all shy! He has a presence about him that commands attention. He will be a star in the show ring! Now started under saddle, he loves to work!! Extremely smart and quick to learn, he ties, bathes and hauls well.

Uptown Lady   is out of the Thoroughbred mare Silvershulace.  She was bred to be an eventer.  Slivershulace's sire line includes the Derby winner Pleasant Colony and Ribot who is known to produce jumpers. Her dam line includes Lear Fan, Roberto and Turn-to, and the Irish stallion, Caro, who is a producer of several upper level eventers and sporthorse mares.

The breeder states:  "The new format in eventing reduces the need for endurance and heightens the need for quick, precise jumping.  Our goal with breeding Coto to a Thoroughbred mare is to produce a sporthorse with the talent and speed to accomplish this as well as have the suspension of movement of a warmblood".        "The filly has a personality that makes her quite independent and very friendly."

Uptown Lady was presented at the Holsteiner breed approvals in October 2004 and was awarded merit status.  Silvershulace is bred back to Cotopaxi for a 2005 foal.  The breeder, Hidden Ridge Farm in Burlington, WA, is breeding event and sporthorse prospects available to purchase.  For information contact abraish@hrsporthorses.com
