Raffaello is an imported 16.3hh 100 day tested an approved Hanoverian stallion. He is by the proven producer Raphael, sire of numerous top level international jumping and dressage horses including Rio Grande, Radiator, Robinson, Ravallo, Raggazzo and more. Interestingly Radiator, whom partnered wth Rene Tebel won the CN million dollar class at Spruce Meadows, share not only the same sire Raphael , but the same D line on the dams side of the equation as well.  Upon hearing we had a Raphael-Foxhunter-Don Juan son, Raffaello, Mrs.  Southern remarked "That Radiator, he came here and just won everything!" 

Raffaello's dam, Fiola, is by the recently deceased Foxhunter (Spruce Meadows) whom was imported after he suffered an injury in Germany to stand as one of Spruce Meadows flagship stallions. Foxhunter produced Fortunas an Olympian in the show jumping in Athens 2004. Foxhunter's sire   Watzmann produced an Olympic gold medalist, Walzerkonig. Foxhunter's dam carries the blood of both Inschallah and Absatz. Fiola's dam is by Don Juan from the same D line that produced the International show jumper  Dollar Girl amongst many other top jumpers and successful stallions such as Drosselklang II.
