Cotopaxi
is our 16.2h imported and Holsteiner Verband approved,
breeding and
competition stallion. Competing in the Grand Prix jumping ring,
additionally he has distinguished himself in the dressage ring scoring up to
76.88% and eventing and is siring 80% premium foals.
Cotopaxi's pedigree is based on the best of
Holsteiner breeding for superb athleticism both over fences and movement,
embodied in a
beautiful modern type favoured today.

Cotopaxi is registered and was approved for
breeding by the Holsteiner Verband. In North America he is approved by the
American Holsteiner Horse Association, the ISR/Oldenburg North America, the
American Warmblood Registry, the Rheinlander Pfalz Saar International and the
Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association.
80% of his
foals are achieving the highest premium scores at their inspections, scoring
8 for movement . His first
foal crops were put into Holsteiner
breeding programs. In 2007 the first of his get are starting under saddle
winning in jumper classes and enjoying diverse interests such as hunting. Filly Vanity Mare
above, scores 8, 8 at 2006 inspection out of a Thoroughbred dam.
Serenada out of a Holsteiner mare scored 8, 8
at her inspection and further was approved a premium mare with 49 bonits.

Cotopaxi's first year in competition he secured a second
placement in his only outing in a recognized event. He is such a versatile
athlete, he was the Pacific Regional and British Columbia Training Level
Dressage Champion on his first dressage outing posting the second highest score
of 76.88% the entire three day show under three FEI judges.
Cotopaxi is winning in all three Olympic
disciplines, but is focused on showjumping.
August 25th - An exciting night for
us at Thunderbird a large crowd of about 800 spectators watched the Blaylock Six
Bar Challenge. Cotopaxi put on a show of spirit all the way across the
Grand Prix field to the start line, then put on a show of his more focused
business side as he proceeded to jump clear over 1.70m to tie for second!
Cotopaxi and Travis Root lead the rounds in the
Aquarius Modified Grand Prix posting double clear rounds and was edged out of
first place by one half of a second in time. 1.30m first round, 1.40m jump off

Spruce Meadows
North American show - Cotopaxi under rider Travis Root was challenged with the
highest degree of technical difficulty at North America's premier venue but
ended his show Sunday on a high note. With double clear rounds, Cotopaxi
showed his agility,speed and scope placing second in the Gienow Cup, 2/10ths of
