Breeders Information

To request a Breeding Service Contract, please fill out our request form at the bottom of the screen and we will be happy to send you one.

*Our standard 2008 stallion service contract has an additional one year Live Foal Guarantee .  New breeding contract options are established October of each year for the following breeding season.

* European approved stallions at North American approved pricing.    Seeking to give our clients the best value and service 2008 studfees are held to our $1,050.   North Americans will find this competitive with frozen semen breedings for comparable European approved stallions

*Fresh cooled semen is collected as required, 7 days a week, and shipped by most appropriate method, usually Fedex overnight or by airline, counter to counter.  Semen reservations made 48 hours in advance are strongly recommended and in some cases will make a valuable difference to the level of service we can provide for you.  

*Requests for semen are to be made 24 hours prior to shipping  for best possible service.   We suggest you make a reservation 48 hours in advance so we can have some preliminary idea of when the services will need to be coordinated.    This allows us to arrange collection and shipping. *Semen evaluations accompany each collection of two 40ml doses of fresh chilled semen.  Cotopaxi's average collection is around 320 million/ml with an extended motility of 70%, frozen thaw motility averages 40%.  Raffaello's average collection is around 420 million/ml with an extended motility of 80%, frozen thaw motility averages 65%.   For both stallions 1 dose of frozen is 5   0.5ml straws and a minimum sperm of 700 million per dose or 140 million per straw.

*Collection and shipping charges are the responsibility of the mare owner and paid directly via credit card to the Vet Clinic, JCS Reproductive Services at 604.530.0223   They are highly professional and have proven time and again that working with them is the best  service we can provide to our clients, both to ensure the best quality of semen is delivered, as well as working on behalf of mareowners with their broodmares.  Policies may be revised and for 2007 they reccomend  breeders establish a Fedex  account in order to avoid a  surcharge when the Vet Clinics account is used.   The Fedex application can be applied for on line or call 1- 800 - 463 - 3339 .    Again collection reservations 48 hours in advance will avoid surcharges the vet clinic may have for last minute calls. Good vets on both ends of the breeding equation are our best allies to help your mare conceive.

Method of Payment

Payment by cheque will be accepted if cleared in advance of breeding.  Cheques are payable directly to Synergy Sport Horses.   In 2008, we will accept Mastercard, Visa and Paypal.

We suggest giving your credit card information for collection and shipping services over the telephone directly to the veterinary clinic JCS Reproductive Services at 604.533.3904.  Dr. Juan Samper can also answer any questions you may have on semen quality.
